IMPORTANT NOTICE

These Terms & Conditions govern all services, repairs, engine builds, diagnostics, and parts supplied by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.

These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into all estimates, work orders, and invoices issued by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.

These Terms & Conditions are binding upon authorization of any work, whether provided by signature, electronic communication, verbal approval, or acknowledgment of posted shop signage.

1. CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION

No work will be performed without prior customer authorization. Authorization may be provided by written signature, electronic communication, or verbal approval.

No additional work or charges will be incurred without customer approval unless:
• A maximum repair amount has been authorized, or
• Additional work is required to ensure safe operation and the customer cannot be reached.

2. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of work.

The remaining balance is due in full prior to vehicle release, engine release, delivery, or shipment.

No vehicle, engine, or parts will be released until full payment has been received.

Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. reserves the right to retain possession of any vehicle, engine, or parts until payment is made in full in accordance with applicable law.

Overdue accounts may be subject to interest at a rate of 2% per month (24% annually).

3. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

Cash, E-Transfer (powerhousejeeps@gmail.com), Debit, and Credit.

4. ESTIMATES, PRICING & DISCLOSURE

All estimates are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated in writing.

Estimates are based on an initial inspection or agreed scope of work and do not guarantee that additional parts, labour, or services will not be required.

The customer acknowledges that additional work may be required based on findings during the course of repair or build.

Final charges will not exceed the authorized estimate or maximum amount without customer approval, including additional labour or parts.

5. DIAGNOSTIC DISASSEMBLY & EVALUATION

Diagnostic procedures may require partial or complete disassembly of vehicle components.

All diagnostic labour, including disassembly, inspection, testing, and evaluation, is chargeable and payable in full regardless of whether repairs are authorized or completed.

If repairs are declined, reassembly is not included unless specifically authorized and will be subject to additional labour charges based on the time required.

Diagnostic results are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection and are not a guarantee of complete fault identification.

6. ENGINE BUILD & ASSEMBLY

Engine assemblies may include new and/or inspected components.

Labour associated with disassembly, inspection, machining, assembly, and testing is included in the build cost.

Deposits are non-refundable once the build is scheduled. Labour is non-refundable once work has commenced.

All labour performed is chargeable and payable in full regardless of project completion, cancellation, or changes in scope.

The customer is responsible for all labour performed and any parts ordered or installed.

7. CORE CHARGE & RETURNS

A core charge may be applied where a rebuildable core is required.

The returned core must be complete and rebuildable. Incomplete, damaged, or non-matching cores may result in partial or full forfeiture of the core charge.

Shipping costs associated with returning the core are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. PARTS, SUBLET WORK & FEES

Repairs may include new, OEM, aftermarket, or rebuilt parts.

Certain repairs or services may be performed by third-party suppliers or subcontractors. Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for delays, defects, or failures arising from third-party services.

Shop supplies, environmental handling fees, and disposal charges may be applied where applicable.

9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All shipping and delivery services are performed by third-party carriers.

Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the vehicle, engine, or parts have been released to the carrier.

The customer is responsible for inspecting shipments upon delivery and must report any damage directly to the carrier.

10. STORAGE FEES & LIEN RIGHTS

Storage fees may apply to vehicles not collected within 72 hours of notification of completion.

Storage fees will continue to accrue until the vehicle is paid in full and removed from the premises.

Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until all charges are paid in full in accordance with the Repair and Storage Liens Act.

Vehicles not claimed may be processed, including enforcement or sale, in accordance with applicable legislation following required notice periods.

11. IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES

Any duties, taxes, tariffs, or brokerage fees imposed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in any estimate, quote, or invoice.

12. WARRANTY

Warranty coverage applies to complete engine rebuild services and does not apply to partial repairs, component replacements, or diagnostic services unless otherwise specified in writing.

Parts are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty only. Labour for removal or installation is not included under the parts warranty.

Warranty coverage applies only where a failure is determined by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc., at its sole discretion, to be the result of defective workmanship.
