POWERHOUSE JEEPS INC.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF REPAIR
Last Updated: October 10, 2026
IMPORTANT NOTICE
These Terms & Conditions govern all services, repairs, engine builds, diagnostics, and parts supplied by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.
These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into all estimates, work orders, and invoices issued by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.
These Terms & Conditions form part of all estimates, work orders, and invoices issued by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. By authorizing work or services, the customer acknowledges and agrees that these Terms & Conditions apply to the transaction.
1. CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION
No work or repairs will be performed or charged without prior customer authorization.
Authorization may be provided in writing or by another method permitted by applicable law. Where authorization is not provided in writing, Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. will maintain a record of the authorization as required by applicable law.
If additional work, repairs, parts, or services are identified during inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, or repair, Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. will obtain customer authorization where required before proceeding.
If the customer cannot be reached, work requiring additional authorization may be suspended until authorization is obtained.
2. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of work or ordering of parts, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
The remaining balance is due in full prior to vehicle release, engine release, delivery, transportation, or shipment. No vehicle, engine, or parts will be released until full payment has been received.
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. reserves the right to retain possession of any vehicle, engine, or parts until payment is made in full in accordance with applicable law.
Overdue accounts may be subject to interest at a rate of 2% per month (24% annually).
3. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Cash, E-Transfer (powerhousejeeps@gmail.com), Debit, Credit, and Whippy Pay.
4. ESTIMATES, PRICING & DISCLOSURE
All estimates are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
Estimates are based on the information available at the time of preparation, including the initial inspection, diagnosis, and/or agreed scope of work. Additional repairs, parts, labour, or services may become necessary or recommended as a result of further inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, or conditions discovered during the course of the work.
Where a written estimate has been provided, the final cost of the work or repairs will not exceed the total amount of the estimate by more than 10% unless additional work or charges are authorized by the customer.
No customer will be charged for work or repairs that have not been authorized.
Where a customer declines a written estimate and instead specifically authorizes a maximum amount for the work or repairs, the total charges will not exceed the authorized maximum amount without further customer authorization.
Any additional work, repairs, parts, labour, or services requiring customer authorization will be documented in accordance with applicable law.
5. DIAGNOSTIC DISASSEMBLY & EVALUATION
Where diagnostic disassembly forms part of an estimate for which an estimate fee is charged, the estimate fee will include diagnostic time, reassembly, and any parts damaged and requiring replacement during reassembly, as required by applicable law. Any additional charges relating to diagnostic disassembly or reassembly will be imposed only where permitted by applicable law.
6. ENGINE BUILD & ASSEMBLY
Engine rebuilds and assemblies may include new, reconditioned, machined, and/or inspected components, as specified in the applicable estimate or invoice.
Labour associated with authorized disassembly, inspection, machining, assembly, and testing is included in the engine build price unless otherwise stated in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable once the engine build has been scheduled and work, parts ordering, machining, or other costs associated with the build have commenced, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
If a customer cancels or changes the scope of an authorized engine build after work has commenced, the customer is responsible for authorized labour performed, parts ordered or installed, machining, sublet services, and other authorized costs incurred up to the date of cancellation or change.
Complete engine rebuilds are subject to the separate Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. Engine Rebuild Warranty, in addition to any rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. CORE CHARGE & RETURNS
A core charge may be applied where a rebuildable engine core or component is required.
To qualify for a full core refund, the returned core must be complete, matching, and reasonably suitable for rebuilding. Missing components, non-matching cores, or damage that prevents or materially affects rebuilding may result in a partial or full reduction of the core refund.
Where an engine or component is supplied on a core-exchange basis, the required core must be returned to Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. within 14 calendar days of receipt of the replacement engine or component, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
If the required core is not returned within the 14-day period, the customer may forfeit the applicable core refund unless an extension has been approved by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. in writing.
Transportation or shipping costs associated with returning the core are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
8. PARTS, SUBLET WORK & FEES
Repairs and services may include new OEM, new aftermarket, used, reconditioned, or rebuilt parts, as identified where required on the applicable estimate and/or invoice.
Certain machining, repairs, services, or other work may be performed by independent third-party suppliers or subcontractors where required as part of the authorized work.
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers or subcontractors where such delays are beyond the reasonable control of Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.
Repair materials and consumables, environmental handling fees, disposal charges, machining charges, and other applicable fees may be charged where disclosed and authorized as required by applicable law.
9. VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION, SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Vehicle transportation, engine shipping, parts shipping, and delivery services may be performed by independent third-party carriers.
Once a vehicle, engine, part, or other item has been released to and is in the possession, custody, or control of an independent carrier, Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, delay, or other claims arising during transportation, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
The customer is responsible for inspecting the vehicle, engine, parts, or other items upon delivery and promptly reporting transportation-related loss or damage in accordance with the carrier's applicable claims procedures.
Transportation or shipping charges, including additional carrier fees incurred as a result of circumstances outside the reasonable control of Powerhouse Jeeps Inc., are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
10. STORAGE FEES & LIEN RIGHTS
Vehicles, engines, parts, or other property not collected or removed within 72 hours after notification that they are ready for release may be subject to a storage fee of $75.00 per day, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Storage charges will continue to accrue until the applicable property is paid for in full and removed, subject to applicable law.
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. reserves all rights and remedies available under the Repair and Storage Liens Act and other applicable law, including the right to retain possession of property where permitted until amounts lawfully owing are paid.
Any enforcement, notice, retention, disposition, or sale of property will be carried out only in accordance with applicable law.
11. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES & BROKERAGE
Any duties, taxes, tariffs, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other import/export charges imposed by the Canada Border Services Agency, United States authorities, a carrier, customs broker, or other applicable authority are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated in writing.
Such charges are not included in an estimate or invoice unless specifically identified.
12. WARRANTY
Where applicable under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, new and reconditioned parts installed by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. and the labour required to install them are subject to the statutory warranty provided by applicable Ontario law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive, exclude, restrict, or limit any statutory warranty or other customer right that cannot lawfully be waived, excluded, restricted, or limited.
Parts may also be covered by warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. Any manufacturer warranty is subject to the manufacturer's applicable terms, conditions, exclusions, and claims procedures and is in addition to any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Complete engine rebuilds performed by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. are also subject to the separate Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. Engine Rebuild Warranty.
Where the Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. Engine Rebuild Warranty provides coverage greater than the minimum coverage required by law, the additional Powerhouse warranty coverage will apply in accordance with its terms.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. shall not be liable for:
• Loss of use of the vehicle
• Loss of income, revenue, or business
• Towing, storage, rental vehicle, accommodation, or transportation costs
• Travel expenses or other incidental expenses
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including third-party carrier delays or failures, supplier delays, or parts availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any liability of Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. arising from services performed shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under applicable law.
14. VEHICLE CONDITION & OPERATION
Vehicles may have pre-existing damage, wear, corrosion, modifications, previous repairs, or other conditions unrelated to the services being performed by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for failures of existing or adjacent components except to the extent that such failure is caused by work performed by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. or responsibility otherwise arises under applicable law.
The customer authorizes Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. and its authorized personnel to operate and road-test the vehicle where reasonably necessary for inspection, diagnosis, testing, calibration, verification of repairs, or other authorized services.
15. DELAYS & PARTS AVAILABILITY
Any estimated completion date is an estimate only and may be affected by parts availability, supplier delays, machining, subcontracted services, transportation delays, additional conditions discovered during repair, customer authorization of additional work, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Powerhouse Jeeps Inc.
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. is not responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions and the services provided by Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
17. POLICY CHANGES & ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. reserves the right to amend, update, or modify its policies, procedures, pricing, and Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
