Every engine is completely torn down, precision-inspected, machined, and reassembled using proven factory components and targeted upgrades based on how your Jeep is actually used.

Custom ECU & ECM Tuning
Powerhouse Jeeps offers custom ECU tuning for Jeep Wrangler platforms—from the TJ 4.0L through 2026 JL/JT models—specifically designed to support and protect our engine build packages.
Each tune is vehicle-specific and calibrated based on:

For engines built in-house, tuning is integrated into the build process to properly manage fueling, ignition timing, throttle mapping, and torque control—ensuring the engine operates safely, efficiently, and as intended.
Our tuning improves horsepower, torque delivery, throttle response, idle quality, and overall drivability while maintaining conservative operating parameters for long-term engine life. Where applicable, unwanted diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) can be disabled.
Some Jeep models utilize the GPEC5 PCM, which must be sent to HP Tuners for unlocking prior to tuning access. All tuning is performed in-house. Remote tuning is not offered.
Custom ECU tuning starts at $500 and is strongly recommended with all Powerhouse Jeeps engine builds to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

ENGINE WARRANTY TERMS
This warranty is provided by Powerhouse Jeeps for the engine rebuild services performed on the vehicle. This warranty is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion of the engine rebuild service, subject to the following:
Warranty Coverage
Powerhouse Jeeps warrants that the engine rebuild services performed shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. During this warranty period, Powerhouse Jeeps will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective parts or rectify any defective workmanship related to the engine rebuild service, without charge to the customer. This warranty applies to the engine rebuild service only.
Parts Warranty
All new or replacement parts installed in connection with the engine rebuild are subject solely to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any, which governs the terms, conditions, and duration of coverage. Powerhouse Jeeps makes no independent warranties, express or implied, with respect to such parts. Manufacturer warranties apply to the part alone and expressly exclude labor, including but not limited to removal, installation, or related services. All labor costs associated with parts warranty claims are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
Abuse or Misuse: Any damage or malfunction resulting from neglect, improper maintenance, misuse, or any form of abuse, including but not limited to racing, overloading, or exceeding the manufacturer’s specifications.
Overheating: Damage due to overheating, regardless of the cause.
Excluded Components: Include but are not limited to wiring harness, sensors, ECM, PCM, pulleys, water pump, transmission, clutch, and other components not directly related to the engine rebuild.
Normal Wear and Tear: Routine maintenance items such as, but not limited to, filters, belts, hoses, gaskets, seals, spark plugs, and fluids.
Accidents and External Factors: Damage or malfunctions caused by accidents, collisions, fire, theft, vandalism, acts of nature, or any other external factors.
Third-Party Repairs or Installations: Any modifications, installations, repairs, or servicing performed by individuals or entities other than Powerhouse Jeeps during the warranty period.
Failure to Follow Maintenance Recommendations: Failure to adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule and guidelines (including oil changes every 5,000 kms).
Unauthorized Alterations: Any unauthorized alterations or modifications to the engine, including but not limited to performance-enhancing modifications..
