Early Years in Motocross & Drag Racing
My journey into automotive mechanics began as a young teen racing motocross, where I learned about mechanical limits, durability, and performance under stress. That passion for speed led me to drag racing and LS engine builds, where precision engine building became both craft and obsession.

Speedway Corvettes: Foundations of Precision
Long nights in the garage fine-tuning components and testing combinations laid the groundwork for Speedway Corvettes, teaching me: every clearance matters, every component must work together, and shortcuts always fail. Over the last 35+ years, I’ve refined these skills through hands-on work while adapting to evolving technology—always grounded in proven mechanical fundamentals.

Transition to Off-Roading
As my passions evolved, I was introduced to off-roading, and in 2020, Powerhouse Jeeps Inc. was born. Off-roading introduced new challenges: engines and drivetrains must deliver torque, cooling efficiency, and reliability far from pavement or support.
